Semi-custom Wind Data Logger for flying on a kite

One of our customers has developed a developed a kite based anemometer for high altitude wind speed measurements. We modifed an off-the-shelf wind2d to make it weigh less. The display can be installed temporarily to check operation and change settings. The connectors have been replaced with stranded wire to reduce weight and increase reliability. The secure digital daughter board is mounted parallel (underneath) the main board. The flight weight is less than 1.9 ounces. All this was accomplished for less than $100 in parts and labor.
