The Thermok incorporates an internal bootloader which allows you to upload the newest firmware using a serial connection to your PC.
Step 1: Download Bootloader Software
Download PICdownloader.exe (364kB).
Step 2: Download Latest Firmware
Download thermok.HEX and save it somewhere where you can find it.
Step 3: Run Bootloader
- Double click on PICdownloader.exe.

- Select thermok.HEX using the "Search (F2)" box
- Select your serial port and set the speed to "9600"

BE SURE TO CHECK THE EEPROM BOX! This isn't shown in our screenshots, but it is needed.
- Click the "Write (F4)" and turn on your thermok

- The firmware will be downloaded to the microcontroller. It will take approximately 30 seconds, during which time you will see the status bar progress.

- You should see your Thermok program and then it will restart using the firmware you just uploaded.
